Page rakes in $121,738 for October quarter
Rep. Sam Page, D-Creve Coeur, took in $121,738 for his run agains Lt. Gov. Peter Kinder next year.
The three-term lawmaker has raised $503,480.24 in this election cycle and has $350,547.03 in the bank. His campaign spent $71,699.44 this quarter.
Page has essentially cleared what had been a crowded Democratic field of contenders to run against Kinder.
“This nine-month fundraising effort places us at the mid-point to the Primary election nine months away,” said Page in a statement. “We are finding support in all corners of the state. I am especially pleased that the total was from 1,129 donors who gave an average of $445.95 per donor.”
Kinder posted an impressive fundraising quarter last time around, pulling in around $340,000. However, he could be in line to send back thousands of dollars if the Missouri Ethics Commission makes candidates return donations that went over preexisting campaign finance limits.
